For this reason the choice of an easy cleaning surface built with Cipa Gres porcelain stoneware is the right choice to reduce any risk of contamination. An easily sanitized floor allows the sterilization of all environments, ensuring safety of respect of the hygiene rules. The company know-how, developed over years of experience with our customers, allowed us to obtain full-body porcelain stoneware with an excellent result in post-cleaning microbacterial analysis.
How certified by referenced third party bodies, our finished products have no residual bacterial load after cleaning, and we believe this is the main feature, and the main reason for choosing a Cipa Gres floor to be used in a hospital / healthcare building or in clinical laboratories.
The remarkable qualities of mechanical resistance obtained without surface treatments and the total absence of volatile organic compounds, guarantee their durability for very long times without any type of alteration.
The possible restoration of the paved surfaces is fast and decisive also from an aesthetic point of view, leaving no trace of any repairs and allowing definitive and lasting internal maintenance .
Product classification
Cipa Gres porcelain stoneware is classified according to ISO 13006 EN 14411 Group B1a UGL or more simply as monolithic UGL (unglazed) porcelain stoneware. It is made up of a single homogeneous mass that makes it much more resistant than any other type of material that can be used for paving. Foot traffic usury is absolutely to keep in note, with thousands of users who often arrive directly from the road with dirty sand soles. This is the stress type that need UGL products.
Dimensional features EN ISO 10545-2
The high quality standard of Cipa Gres products, quite better than norms prescribe, gives a dimensional precision, both in the calibres (real size) and in the thickness, to our production that allows to reduce joints to the minimum.
Flexural strength and breaking strength EN ISO 10545-4
The very high values of our production, almost double those required by international standards, place our products at the top among the products on the market. A suitable laying, so-called full-bed, will allow to take advantage of the greater performance of our porcelain stoneware at a value that stands, working by compression, at about 3500 Kg./cm2(14mm product test).
Coefficients of friction
They are available in various formats and tested according to national and international standards, DIN 51130, DIN 51094, B.C.R.A. TORTUS, ASTM 1028, ANSI A 137.1: 2012, BS 7976-2: 2002, UNE ENV 12633: 2006, AS 4586: 2013 etc., all the anti-skid necessary for the working environments accessory to the commercial area (laboratories, changing rooms with showers , loading and unloading areas both internal and external, etc.).
Stain resistance UNI EN ISO 10545-14
Thanks to the closed surface microporosity, typical of our porcelain stoneware, all our products are in class 5, so any accidental stains of any nature are easily removable.
Project colors
The color as signal, or to divide departments, or to make rooms more comfortable. Our production techniques allow us to create special finishes and colors according to the customer's request. Already several hospitals have found an answer in this field, harmonizing colors and obtaining comfortable environmental colour balances.
Hydrojet cutting and sandblasting
Our technical porcelain stoneware, being a full body (UGL), allows us to create on demand your own logo inserted in the floor.
